OUR PARTNERS

The P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program is proud to have partnered with leaders, advocacy and implementation partners to bring clean drinking water to people in communities and emergency relief situations across the globe.

Meet Our Water Champions

As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program, we honor our Water Champions, whose dedication fuels our mission. Their efforts in educating families and delivering life-changing clean water bring us closer to our goal of 25 billion liters by 2025. This milestone is a tribute to their invaluable contributions and commitment to our cause.

Bonface Otieno

KENYA

At 23, Bonface exemplifies the transformative power of clean water. A decade ago, he struggled with waterborne illness in his Western Kenyan village, which caused frequent school absences. This changed when the P&G Children's Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) Program, in partnership with CARE, reached his village.

Bonface not only benefited from the clean water provided by P&G Purifier of Water packets; he also became an advocate. As the elected chairperson of his primary school's health club, he educated his peers about the technology and led initiatives promoting hand hygiene, sanitation, and overall well-being.

As the CSDW Program celebrates its 20th anniversary, Bonface embodies its lasting impact. His journey from a child facing preventable illness to a young leader and college graduate who empowers his community illustrates the program's influence.
