Since 2004, P&G has provided more than 15 billion liters of clean water to people in need around the world. The program provides an easy-to-use water purification packet invented by P&G scientists that can clean 10 liters of water in just 30 minutes.
With more than 180 years of experience inventing cleaning products that improve lives around the world, P&G is proud to share its most life-changing cleaning technology with families who lack access to clean drinking water.
Activate The Global Citizen Movement
This fall, CSDW will be featured in the ACTIVATE documentary series on National Geographic Channel. The six-part series follows celebrity activists, like Uzo Aduba, as they uncover the root causes for global issues around poverty, inequality, and sustainability.
P&G scientists invented the P&G Purifier of Water technology while attempting to clean dirty laundry water. The innovation became the foundation for the CSDW Program. With only a bucket, a stick, and a clean cloth, this small packet, engineered to be a mini water treatment plant, purifies 10 liters of dirty, potentially deadly, water into clean drinkable water in only 30 minutes.
